The installer mobile app: sign in, see your jobs, complete with a photo

Installers download the SignFlow app from the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android and sign in with the same account they use on the web. The “Field work” tab shows their jobs; from there they call the customer, get directions and complete the job with a photo.

Updated:

Before you start: account and role

There is no sign-up in the app. The company administrator invites the installer by email under Settings › Team, and the installer creates their account from the invitation link. Their role must be attached to the installation stage of the workflow; the ready-made setup has an Installation team role for this. Without it the app opens, but no installation jobs appear.

Install the app and sign in

  1. 1

    Download the app

Search for “SignFlow” in the App Store on iPhone or Google Play on Android and install it. The store links on the signflow.me home page lead to the same app.

  2. 2

Sign in with the same account

Enter the email and password you use on the web and sign in. If you do not know your password, use the forgot-password link to get a reset link by email. The session is kept securely on the phone, so you do not sign in every time.

  3. 3

    Find your way around

There are five tabs at the bottom: Home, Orders, Field work, Notifications and More. Installation jobs live under “Field work”.

See your jobs

  • The field work tab lists jobs as cards by day: time, customer, order, address and status.
  • You see the jobs assigned to you and the ones nobody has been assigned yet; other crews' jobs are hidden.
  • “Only my jobs” narrows the list to the ones assigned to you.
  • Jobs without a date sit in their own undated section; a job whose day has passed without completion is marked overdue.

On site: call and get directions

Tap a job to see its details: date and time, address, contact person and phone, the crew and the office's notes. Call the contact with one tap or open the map for directions. To see the order itself, open it from the job.

Complete the installation with a photo

If completing does not work, the screen says why: there may be no installation photo yet, the job may have no date, or it may not be assigned to you. Everyone sees an unassigned job, but the planner has to assign it to you before you can add a photo and complete it.

  1. 1

    Take a photo

When the work is done, take a photo of the installation, or pick one you already took from the gallery. JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC photos are accepted.

  2. 2

    Wait for the check

The photo uploads and is checked for a few seconds; the screen shows the progress. Add more photos if you like.

  3. 3

    Tap complete

Confirm, and the installation is recorded as completed by you at that moment. The office sees it straight away and the order can be closed.

No app? Use the browser

The same works in the phone's browser: sign in at app.signflow.me, open your job from the Installations page and tap “Take Photo & Complete”. Use “Add to Home Screen” from the browser's share menu to open SignFlow like an app.

Frequently asked questions

Can installers sign up in the app themselves?

No. The account comes from the company administrator's invitation. Once the installer has created it from the invitation link, they sign in to the app with the same email and password.

Can an installation be completed without a photo?

No. Completing needs at least one installation photo and an installation date. An order that needs installation cannot be closed until its installation is complete.

Can I see other crews' jobs in the app?

No. You see your own jobs and the ones nobody has taken yet. Seeing the whole plan and assigning jobs needs the installation planning permission.

Does the app work offline?

No, the app does not work offline. If a photo fails to upload, check your connection and try again.
